scothunter 12,609
agree boysie.how ironic though, the sea was dead calm stars out and all that ocean, and a glancing blow from a berg sent it to the bottom.even by todays standards it was one big f*****g ship. littlefish 585
I find it really creepy even thinking of what it must have been like to have been there. Waiting for a cold, dark death.

SNAP SHOT 194
Think alot of things make it stand out, maiden voyage, such a finely finished ship with the best of craftsmanship throughout, her size, lines, And the loss of life, the increase in speed to make the trip below the alloted time, the first time the pictures showed her bow after mir discovered her, So many things. Snap.

fireman 10,917
Read a thing about one of the ships owners who had sneeked on a lifeboat that night,he in fact owned the race horse which won the Derby when that woman sufroject(spelling?) threw herself in front of the kings horse, the winning horse wasn't allowed in the winners enclosure due to the owner being publicly shunned as a coward. Another thing is about Scotts trip,Captain Oates was a proper b*st*rd to all and everyone he met and rumour still has it in the village he was from they ate him first due to no one liking the bloke such a rotter he was.
