cheers for last night steve some nice shoots last night shame about the 10 yard one :thumbs: and the one you droped and then ran of and the ones with ringsting :notworthy::notworthy:

Dont worry about it mate as it happens to us all from time to time.

As long as you try to be as humane as possible and finish any wounded quarry with a swift second shot.

10 metres can be a sneeky range to kill quarry at Tus.

Alot of lads zero a .22 at 30 yards (27 metres) and on a avarage mag like x6 you will still need to apply 1/2 a mildot of hold over to hit the rabbit in the brain.

The barrel will need to be lifted to bring the pellets trajectory up.

If you dont you will go under its chin of hit it in the lower neck area if unlucky.

Even with a .177 zeroed at 30 or 35 yards you will still need to apply a slight bit of hold over at 10 yards to produce the best shot possible.

You then add other human error to the equasion like wobble and shooter skill and you are setting yourself up for a 10 yard miss.
