Fking Tree Stumps !!!!!!

Recommended Posts

So after not seeing your dog as an emergency, as if that wasn't bad enough, they now make you wait all day for an afternoon appointment! :icon_eek:

At the very least they should have told you to bring the dog in as soon as the surgery opened this morning.

You really do need to find a better Vet.

ATB though, hope the dog is OK.

Well shes fine really eating and stuff but ive got a hefty old vet bill

she give is a free consultation

and antibiotics 40 quid altogether ....

BUT ..... needs operation next week to remove teeth and make sure jaw isnt fractured ......

shes got smashed bottom gum and teeth and her pallet ( underneath tongue ) is split about 3 - 4 inches long

which isnt good at all i never noticed underneath , never even thought of looking there

all in all it comes to about £ 300 quid

but a wud pay alot more if i had too !

They're going to wait until next week to "make sure" the jaw isn't fractured?!

Good grief. What happened to x-rays? Did they dispense any painkillers? I second what others have said: there's something very odd about your vet....

its because she wanted to wait a few days until she could get a proper look after the antibiotics took swelling down so i didnt spend a fortune

the pups fine eating fine shes her normal self tbh

if she was in pain couldnt eat and bleeding then they would have treated it as an emergency i think

you wouldnt know anything was wrong until you opened her mouth mate

I wish her better.

thankyou mate

You must be a retard. Its that simple. The guys pup ran into a tree stump. Are you saying you have never run your dog on land where there are trees, tree stumps, any kind of fallen branches, fences etc? He didn't slip it at a bunny sat amongst a load of tree stumps, it was an ACCIDENT. It's a sickening part of running dogs. Walking the ground does f**k all good most of the time, a lot of dogs die hitting things they have avoided plenty of times rather than some serious hazard that the owner hasn't seen. I was out yesterday with my pup having a mooch and he put a rabbit out of a big bramble patch, turned it a couple of times and was about to strike as it went under/through a fence. He crashed into it and was flung back, couple of feet either way and he would have hit a post. Night night pup. Both me and the dog have walked past and climbed over that fence too many times to count.

Hope dog makes a full recovery slip the dog.

At least she'll get sorted mate.

Shame this post got ruined by a load of idiots who obviously take there dogs out in bubble wrap by the sounds of things. FFS a dog can trip on the slightest of things when they are going full tilt.

Gald to hear the vets finally got the time to have a look.

What teeth has she got to have out?

if you are calling me one of the idiots, i was only pointing out its good to keep an eye on your ground, and therefore help the chance of not getting an injury, I know a dog can injure itself at full tilt,

I have been involved in running dogs for 43 years, but have found if you say something on here, that some disagree with, you get called a moron and a idiot,

from now on I will just look , and not post.bye

people chuck dogs away like rubbish , some people beat them ,dont feed em properly , swap them week in week out because they wont for 'example' do fox or other things

and let them live in shite

but i gaurantee my dogs will live with me until the day they pass will always be looked after fed watered and warm you could put millions in front of me and i wouldnt take it for any of my dogs

i made a small mistake which luckily didnt end up in me losing my bitch :victory:

which i will try not to make again !
