secretagentmole 1,701
I was just interested as to why if they were that good someone had loads? Just got an enquiring mind, I did not know if they were good or bad. I am a fine one to talk, I have an almost childish love of one of the cheaper springers, a Hatsan 60S, I will defend this lovely gun to the ends of the earth, as mine is ace and well built. It is nice to find people passionate about their rifles and pistols (I was going to say people passionate about their weapons but someone with a mind as warped and corrupted as mine could take that the wrong way)! secretagentmole 1,701
Well the wife is after a cheap gun for rabbit shooting, we asked a local gun shop what he would recommend and he said that for a cheap rabbit killing rifle he could not think of a better gun than a Hatsan 60S with Hawke 3-9x40 scope that he would do a deal on for £130! So that is what she is buying for bunny plinking! She is picking it up tomorrow! Edited January 26, 2011 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
johnbaz 363
nowt wrong with stealths had loads shit hot If they are that good how come you have had loads, if they were good you would have had one or two at the most, they would last! It's probably the same as me- i've had loads of Aisporters (still have around eight ) but i've sold loads in the past, i seem to get bored and then move them on, i usually regret it as soon as they've gone through the door I have a Stealth and an S-16, the stealth is a fantastic gun, lightweight, powerful and quiet also, very comfy to shoulder (even though it goesn't look it ) but the Logun has been very troublesome, leaking upon screwing the bottle in then being OK when i screw it in the next day :censored: ) One thing about the Logun, when i chrono'd a string of ten shots, the deviation was just 3fps , i've never had a gun so consistent My Stealth.. Logun S-16 John Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
I just wondered why so many Craig? Being someone who finds what he likes and sticks with it, mind you in the world of air weapons upgrades are common, so might be better stock, thumbhole stock, whatever as a reason! We are sticking to cheap springers, picking up another Hatsan 60S tomorrow, with scope (Hawke 3-9 x40) for under £130. This is being purchased for rabbit killing and it was recommended by a gunsmith, so he knows about guns and he recommends them as good quality, lower cost weapons. The wife does not want to get her Diana covered in mud! Same goes for my Stingray! The Hatsans will be used for shooting in the field, the Diana and Webley are for the range! Quote Link to post

J Darcy 5,871
I have never owned one but have used one, just didnt like it. Lots of hype when they first came out, but i would not swap one Falcon for 10 Loguns.... JMHO. Quote Link to post
jay2k123 2
hi BB,i have the gunpower storm, found it to be ok out of the box.but being a fettler i changed most things on it.leupy spring and hybrid hammer, leupy valve stem and top hat and various other mods including the "o" ring mod which quitens it substantially.i found it to be quite loud at the muzzle out of the box so i put a sak rimfire silencer on it.now it shoots quiet and with the big buddy bottle get countless shots from it.that said i do own a hw100 which i use mainly.you will find a lot of people slate storms/stealths without trying a sorted one.my advice see if someone local to you will let you try their rifle then you will know if you like it.hope this is of help to you atb John 1 Quote Link to post
