Thinking of working my staff

Jw if any one could tell me wht ther like i have a 8 month old staff x black lab ( looks jus like a tall athletic staff) does anyone think it would be any good she is keen on anything she can try n catch she caught a pigeon about 2month ago on the back yard i was in stitches lol.

sounds good:) my dogs to to bad with other dogs well it hasnt eaten my mums yorky yet haha

wht would you say just take her out and let her go on her way maybe let her watch my mates dogs ?

ive always kept her away from my kills rabbits and such dint want her rippin fur every wer

maybe letting have 1 or 2 or the skins over a chunk or rubber ?

I just took mine to places where there was rabbits and let her teach herself when she was stock broken. As for marking holes it is different with every dog, some will stare in to the hole others will dig. Mine would just stare in to the hole and she wouldn't leave till we had put the ferrets in or bolted a fox with the terriers. She retrieved a fox back once in front of the farmer who had caught us poachingicon_eek.gif but he was ok and I ended up with the permission. I'll try to scan some pics in of the old bitch, I would have another one if a decent one came upthumbs.gif

thanks alot pal ill let u kno how i get on am goin ferreting thursday anyways so i might take her up she wht she thinks , but would you say let a couple run n let her chase ? or jus let her mark ?

welll mate.

i work to staffs. the dog is 2 1/2 and the bitch is 1.

their game for anything.

great little bushing dogs.

let your bitch off to do her own thing.

she wont be long learning the game.
