barry lurcher 27 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 a lad on here posted make your pegs i done it and fair play he was spot on he said cut a 6 inch wide by about 8 inch branch from an elderberry tree split it into rough pegs then get witiling carve em how you want them and season them dry them out for a few months they go like iron i cheated and put pegs in the oven on lowest heat setting left em inthere for about 6 hrs i made more than i needed because some of them split not many easy Quote Link to post
