working bedlington

Hello everybody this is my 1st post.

I own 2 patterdales (old nuttall/gould) working basically on foxes/nutria.

I would like to try some working bedlington.

I keep in contact with an old George Newcombe(Rillington) strain breeder.

Could you tell me something about bedlington as earthworking breed??

Welcome aboard Lambro , I'm sure someone will be able to help you out with some information regarding working bedlingtons, I don't have any experience of them myself, but I know they are rarely used as an earth dog over here....

I know of a guy near Glasgow, Scotland that works and occassionaly breeds bedlingtons. He and his father have always worked bedlingtons.

 

We got our beddy/whipXbeddy/grey from him a 2 months back.

 

 

The beddy/whip bitch he bred himself out of his bedlington bitch. BOTH work to ground.

Bedlingtons are my other half's thing.

I usually visit the working bedlington terrier msg board .You can find over there many interesting discussions about the breed.

Does anybody know how to get in contact with
