lambro1966 0
Hello everybody this is my 1st post. I own 2 patterdales (old nuttall/gould) working basically on foxes/nutria. I would like to try some working bedlington. I keep in contact with an old George Newcombe(Rillington) strain breeder. Could you tell me something about bedlington as earthworking breed?? Sorry for my english (i'm italian). Thank you in advance best of luck to you Massimo. P.s. did you sign the online petition "the continuation of hunting" ?? see at ED/RD website. IanB 0
Welcome aboard Lambro , I'm sure someone will be able to help you out with some information regarding working bedlingtons, I don't have any experience of them myself, but I know they are rarely used as an earth dog over here.... Guest lazylurchers
I know of a guy near Glasgow, Scotland that works and occassionaly breeds bedlingtons. He and his father have always worked bedlingtons. We got our beddy/whipXbeddy/grey from him a 2 months back. The beddy/whip bitch he bred himself out of his bedlington bitch. BOTH work to ground. Beddy/whip Beddy/whip dam We also saw this one at a lurcher show last year. Bedlingtons are my other half's thing. Quote Link to post
