lurcher/tumblers

Recommended Posts

Tumblers arn't a strain of dog, I was told its just an old name used to describe a lurcher cross lurcher, normally broken coated that can take tumbles and that with less chance of getting injured. Like say a collie/grey cross deerhound/grey with maybe a touck of bedlington, Something strongly built with good feet and coat. I dont really know if this is true, its just what i was told a long time ago when i was looking into getting my first lurcher.

A picture is worth a thousand words! A friend of mine had one of these "tumblers" it was aggresive ,even to bitches, useless on all quarry and would course a fox turning and turning it bit never going in,I said it loked like a Husky cross, and have since been told that Burrells mate breeds huskies, not a type for me.
