hickymick 37
Merle most collie bull greyhounds I have witnessed are heavier than say a 1/4 bull greyhound. If you want speed and agility, a bit of saluki or saluki whippet would be ideal. I don't see any need for collie in the mix. Nothing you can say will change that as I have witnessed it with my own eyes. I am a big fan of collie crosses, just not this kind. FTB Lol,, You aint seen a good one then,, ,, they would make a far better allround animal than a straight x,,, and if youre trying to say they wont take a bite then i would dissagree some collie cross are sick on teeth so carnt see the saluki doing many favours in that department,, although yes i would agree saluki adds a good bit of wind and i know a few coursing animals that have bumped into them on there travels,, one took to them one got bit and ran off lol,,,,, if the breeding is wright then this cross in the wright hands have great potential. If you go out just looking for teeth then yeah get a point and shoot bullx.... everyone else does,, . colliegreyhoundxbullgreyhound, also has a better coat nd can pass as a rabbiter, wont show scars up like a salukibullx or a straight bullx,,,mine must have been ok with stamina as she could catch hares in day time too pre ban,,now i would still have room for any of these x's cos they all can be good workers, but have loads of foned memories of this collie greyhound bullgreyhoundx, she gave her all for me on most types of hunting fields Edited January 28, 2011 by hickymick Quote Link to post
