DUCKWING

Funnily enough Duckwing when I was in my teens in the miners strike,a striking miner had a litter of grew's and with times being real hard for them was selling them at what could only be described as a steal.I was lucky enough to acquire a little bitch which was the impetus for me to get into running dogs.......she was turning into a real fine working dog until her life was cut short in a house fire

There was a racing whippet near me, I think he was non pedigree, they said he was a top racer his name was Indian Joe, anyone heard of him?

also I am surprised no one has any info on what Carl Williams of south Wales is now doing,

he was always being mentioned in the old Shooting news, he had the whippet Bow, and two brood greyhounds bitches, don't know if he still has dogs, never hear of him now.

He was bred out of Tyrone x Curryhills Kitty a greyhound, had one out of this litter in the late 80s

Travelled up north to Hexham to get my pup, it turned out to small 28lb.

The last time I saw Carl Williams was in the 90s when we judged a lurcher show together, cracking bloke, we got on like a house on fire  I'll give Sammy Vaughn a call and see if he knows if he's still in the dog game
