chartpolski 23,867
Daisy was my favoutite of all time; she was a freak, a phenonemon ! Front end like a Whippet, back end like a Greyhound ! Her litter mates were all top class; Robbo, Zoey, etc. I saw her kill the only hare I think she was ever slipped on, and saw her win countless scratch races, under 21" and no limit. She was Whippet/Grey; Bilko x Frozen Kill. There are dogs doing faster times now, but not dominating and winning in such style as she did ! Oh ! The good old days !! LOL !! Cheers. Quote Link to post

chartpolski 23,867
Bob, I had a pup out "Flossey", (Rch Yorkie Boy X Greyhound) By Rch Haymaker; looked like she would make the grade at yds per lb, but I had to go away , and she went to a handicap racer. She won a lot, but didn't live up to her potential. Her mother, Flossey, was one of the best 30/32 lb'ers I ever seen, but she allways came up against Rch Devils Angel, Which was of course one of the best 32lb'ers ever !! Another Yorkie Boy X Greyhound !! Cheers. Quote Link to post

And once again, he had the best of the Whippets, Bilko, on his sires side and Greyhound on his dams side ! Another Grew that was tremendous ! Cheers. Quote Link to post
