Knew George Kelly well, he had a black whippet greyhound called Ben, George used to breed whippet bedlingtons, he lived in the Brownhills area just off the A5 in the midlands. That grew Ben was abit special at racing, they were betting money at the midland game fare in the 80s that Ben would win the racing, but I beat it with a bitch called Sally Quote Link to post

Think I've got a couple of pic of one of my dogs with a big ears he'd caught, regarding catch rate, I've never gone out to get big catches, could never see the point in carting a boat load around with me on land I shouldn't be on, and don't forget, when I was going out mooching when I was younger we couldn't afford a camera, and there was no internet to put big catches on to try and impress naive young lads and lasses. 1 Quote Link to post

whip x grey 276
ive got few photos off rabbits mate ,,,,but its hard to take dogs out with camera ,,,i did take video camera once or twice dogs hunting but daytime it was a bit blank,,,,,,i do regret not taking camera off blue bitch at the roe,,,but that would not be leagal,,,as she was after ban,,,,there loads off folk on here that have sent me pic,s off there dogs ( i,e hardbloods or lurcher x hardbloods doing there job,,,but they would never show on here,,,after ban was in place and they keep themselfs to themself,s its just the way they are i do have alot more ,,,but i have two photo bucket accounts off dogs ,,,1000,s off photos in each,,,but would take me too long to look threw,,, iam sure there might be more on my 2nd account ,,,but i tend not to take camers when mooching,,,and my phone dont take pic,s its about 15 years old these are the ones i can find in two minutes flat,,,when snow was here or there abouts (very short video clip,,,if u can see him u have better eyes than me ) nothing happened couldnt see him due to snow and his color ,,but puts any myth to this breed ,,,he,s not running around like headless chicken,,,but nothing flushed when he was hunting up,,,usally there,s somthing but not that day Quote Link to post
