wasnt there a bloke called carl williams from south wales who used to breed grews years ago. saw one reputedly from his kennels work years ago very handy dog.

Yes, he had a good stud dog called Bow  his grew was bred from pedigree whippet x greyhound, mine have been bred from non-pedigree whippet to a greyhound, same but different.

is a grew classed as a non ped whippet or must there be more greyhound blood?

ive had two racing bred whippets, smaller and lighter then my present kc reged whippet.

both were bred from racing stock from country music, marillian lines, but were worked by the breeders daughter

Yes a grew is a whippet x greyhound and classed as a non-ped  the amount of greyhound blood varies, some breeders put 3/4 greyhound 1/4 whippet back to a full greyhound because they prefer a bigger dog, my preferance is as near to 50/50 as possible.

My line go back to Country Music  first used him back in 1987 and became good friends with the owner Vern Hutchings from Tiverton in Devon.

I'll put a picture up of Country Music later.
