glad to be back out ferreting

back to the farm for a few hours ferreting got there at 9am spoke to the owners just to let them no we were on there land then a 30min walk to the 1st set of burrows nets down 2ferrets collard up in they go normally get a few from this one but can here the rabbits just runin abt under ground they dont want to come out then it goes quite can here some squealing mk3 ferret finder out finds one ferret at 3.5ft out with the spade nt looking forward to this ground is rock solid 15mins later we are getn there pulled the last of the soil out with me hands 1bunny with my jill hold on finds the nxt ferret 5ft down gets to 4ft down and the ferret moves wait abit and out the hole the ferret pops so a keep diggin break through but cant find the rabbit ano it must be dead as ferret has blood all over his face,so 2 out the first burrow move on nets on the nxt one and its got 100 holes keeps u warm putn all them nets down just hope some one is home 3ferrets in this time out pop 4 rabbits and we loose 3 as only two of us we have a rabbit in the nets at the same time then then 2more pop out but as we have our hands full they wriggle free but neva mind we leave here and move on to the last 1 for the day get 3more thats 9 in total not our best bag but we have managed to get rid of quite a few over the last couple of visist farmer is happy saying we doing a good jod as shows us some of more of his land that he says is full of rabbits so cant wait to get back there and see what we get and he is also speaking to some one else to see if we can do there land so all is good at the moment.some pics of the day

that's how it goes sometimes,the escapees are always sport for later and nine is a fair amount,nice ferrets aswell...
