rabbit.slayer.no.1 3
ok guys a mate of mine came round yesterday asking me to take my ferrets on to the local feild , as there was some big looking rabbit holes. i had a walk over with out them to have a look , and he was right there was around 11 holes tons of rabbit poop. but some of the holes you could send a fully grown fox down it .but i dont have any gear i.e locator nets infact anything. so i said not a chance. plus less then 5 yrds more up the hill is the start of a very big old car park/knocked down building foundations. so even if i had locators and stuff the chance of a ferret heading under it and getting stuck is unthink able as digging it out isnt possible. would any of you try it? or is it best just to use the old air rifle and wait about for them? Aaron_butcher 17
i've done old buildings mate, had a lay up under the footings of a cow shed, never again, if the ferret had gotten trapped he'd be a gonner. lamping them be a better option i rekons Quote Link to post
