dsc 1 booked sgc/fac applied for!!!!

hi all, right after 20 plus years shooting i,ve finally applied for my sgc and fac at the same time (just posted them 10 mins ago) and also booked onto the dsc 1. i have apllied for .17hmr, 22.250 and 270. been shooting my mates .17hmr, 22.250 and 308 for many years and now got abit more permission and been offered afew mooches so time to go solo.lol. got afew driving offences and a common assult from 96 so hopefully should go through ok. will keep you updated on my progress.cheers stav

Good news!

 

Remember though, that the FEO can only make recommendations, it's all down to the licencing manager to decide whether you actually get what is recommended!

 

And yes, you'll get the FAC through the post, but did he give you a timescale? It took Thames Valley nearly three months to get mine out to me after the FEO visit!

well it's took almost 3 months but sgc/fac were on the doorstep when i got home today. got everything i had asked for. spot on.stav

 

Congratulations, well done- I'll bet the last three months have gone by slowly!

 

I'm on the same sort of timescale as you, still waiting for my certs to arrive though- 6 weeks now since the FEO visit so hopefully not too much longer now!

Congratulations mate, I put in a FAC application last week, double checked they had got it today, and they confirmed it was now being processed. Im guessing it will take the same amount of times as it took for the SGC which was 13 weeks.
