I live in the Black Country and regularly use some farmland over the Clent Hills with a air rifle. Lost my old lurcher ten days ago with a tumour on her spleen and a mate told me to join here to look for another dog but it looks a good site so hopefully will be a regular on here. secretagentmole 1,701 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Share Posted January 23, 2011 Good Luck, we bought a proper gundog Lab from a breeder in Lincolnshire, have not trained him for work, but when he was 5 months old a bird scarer went off in a field, less than 10 feet away from him, he was looking all over for the bird that was shot, after half an hour he wandered back and gave me a look that said "Listen, if you can's shoot the damned things I want the things that go bang and you can go fetch it..."
