He also goes ferreting and he's been out lamping a couple of times and absolutely loves it. He is waiting til he is old enough to come beating bless him I think if they grow up with it then they will naturally go on and do it with no problems what so ever. I don't think we would take any of this friends with us as none of them are into any type of field sports at all and I have no idea what i would do if they reacted badly. She started as a regular at age 8.
