fishfish 17
fancied making something this evening for a bit of fun and i decided on making a new strop, wood backed with an antler handle. so heres the raw materials,a nice bit of English yew and a red deer horn from an Exmoor stag that met with an untimely end ....but thats another story! and heres the job done: now a strop as this deserves better than jewellers rouge or toothpaste for a compound so i managed to aquired some 60micron diamond cutting paste: apply just a little: and this stuff cuts well! razors edge in just a few strops of the knife. thanks for looking.
