Dux 5
Smallest dog that can do the job is the best, IMHO. Less food to shovel in one end and less to shovel on the other end as well. Smaller are quicker off the line, corner better and tend to get injured less. Taller tend to have more top end speed and cover ground more efficiently. (Look more elegant doing so as well. ) Sounds like yours is doin first rate, keep it up! ATB -Dux Quote Link to post

whin 463
like a dog at least 24 25 and bigger for nite time and daylite plenty pace weight to stop there qaurry as some nites you can get lots of work and the little dog hasnt the weight to cope plus they can run lite as optimus says ,if its just a rabbit or hare preban 23 plus is a good size aslong as it has paceand stamina when roe was legal you need a dog with strenth to keep it at bay especaily if its big slips some nites , Quote Link to post
donkdaniel 236
Like win said it depends what your running no good doing fallow with a whippet even if it had the balls it would get carried miles or thrown around by a pig were not talking guts just sheer dimensions think of it like this all the rugby lads lol you wouldn't put Shane Williams in the second row he would get pushed all over the place and his line outs wouldent go much better but you won't get close to him on the wing ?
