Rik 49
Like I said earlier dogs 1st dig, just got back from a good day to try out my 11 month Patt dog after a call from the keeper. First earth was entered with one of the experienced dogs but no-one was home. Second earth was entered by the same dog and someone was home. The dog settled down at 4 foot on a single holer. We broke through after 10 minutes to find the dog mixing it up with a vixen. My pup was on the top watching and getting himself wound up. We removed the dog and let my pup go. He was straight in without any hesitation, let him mix it up for a couple of minutes and then humanely dispatched the vixen. I was well pleased with my dog for his first time Quote Link to post
