hi mate

the saluki is 3 years old and has been kept with and around birds of prey since i got him, the goshawk is 8 months old, i imprinted him on me and the saluki, i kept them together 24hours a day 7 days a week with me, for the first 3 months, to achieve this they had to live in the house with me, come to work with me and spend the weekends at country shows and stuff to get the bird used to people and dogs etc, the saluki is at present pushing pheasants out of cover for the gos, i havent killed a hare with the gos yet, i have flown him on 3 or 4 and he flew them for a good while but i didnt have him in the right condition at that time to commit himself to binding onto the hare, but this year after the stubble has been cut he will be

an older bird fitter and stronger and i will get him onto some rabbits and then the the hares, then bring the dog into the equation, it will all pay off this year, ;)
