Multi colour filters now available for LED torches

Well, yesterday I email Ledco who make LED Lenser torches and asked them about the possibility of haveing my favourite torch, the P7, with a high lumen output red LED.

 

Today I had an email back about a new product litteraly released this morning! Some of you maybe aware that its very difficult to get colour filters to work with CREE LED lights due to the wavelength of the lightoutput, they are by their nature hard to filter in a way that doesnt considerably reduce their brightness.

 

Thuis is the mail I got back from Lenser:

So a quick look on Brightlites website this evening sees the product now on sale, Im sure the filters could be adapted to fit other LED torches and Ill happily do a write up on them when the one I have orderd has arrived.

Hey Mark

 

I've been using optically pure acryllic coloured filters on my cree for a while now, red, green, blue and yellow/orange.

They cost me a fiver on ebay and must admit, they are darn right good

I have been using a deben flip up filter on my cree and it is pink not red, it goes on the cree with a similar fitting of a flip up scope cover with the rubber skirt, you get the idea
