pianoman 3,587
Really Mushroom! Seriously now Alcamy, if I was looking for a spring rifle for your intended sport, it has to be a Weihrauch HW77 .22. The very best air rifle money can buy off the peg! Simon Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Alcamy, That’s a bit of an ambiguous question there buddy to tell you the truth. There is no single answer with what you have given us. I’ll throw some pointers your way to help the regs in here narrow down your criteria. Spring powered or gas ram? Pre charged pneumatic (PCP)? – You will need charging equipment too. Single shot or multishot? – Are you going to be shooting lots of vermin and may need a follow up shot fast? Light or heavier rifle? – Are you a small framed person and like a light rifle as you will be carrying it far and for many hours. Long or carbine rifle required? – Will you be shooting from a car or in a tight space? Wood or synthetic stock? Do you want the looks or the stock to be able to take a few knocks here and there? Thumb hole or sporter style stock? – Just the individuals own preference. How many shots per fill if you are thinking of a PCP? – 30 to 40, 60 to , 100 to 150 or more than 150? What calibre you thinking of as well buddy as we may be able to give you a good stir to best pellet choice? Have a look at my questions above and come up with a answer to each question then we will tell you what rifle to have a serious look at. Forgot to say, what is your budget as well mate?
