Cochyn 0
I was talking to a guy about this last year. He reckoned that the PDSA Vet in Bute Street down Cardiff Bay offered him the best price to vasectomise his hob and spay his jills. My local vet said about £70 last year. I ended up paying for two jill jabs which wasn't much cheaper. Edited January 21, 2011 by Cochyn Quote Link to post
kurtrog70 6
£78 is my cheapest quote so far, and i thought that was steep. Iv had a quote for £144. how can some vets justify charging double than other vets. Rip offs Edited January 21, 2011 by kurtrog70 Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
When the operation is done most vets will offer to send of a sample to ensure the op was a. Sucsess I would enquire if this is in the cost as last year there was a good few people with alot of unwanted kits due to the op not bring sucsesfull once the hobs healed and ready for action if the sample hasn't been sent off for analysis I woul just run the hob with one jill firs but remember once srviced by a snipped hob jills can and most do have a phantom pregnancy and look and act very pregnant , Quote Link to post

ulverston moocher 60
I paid £60 last year the vet rang me and said the op was successful so I said oh that's great he said yeh but it died in recovery and because the op went ok I still need the full amount owed I told him to go away in no uncertain terms and we settled on £30 half price so in hind sight I paid £30 to have my perfectly healthy hob pts bloody robbing arseholes Quote Link to post
