Catcher 1 639
The man offered a two and half year old dog for stud.Big deal .Seem,s to be a lot of expert,s on other people,s dog,s.Hope there high standard,s apply to there own kennel,s. if you would be happy to use it thats up to you. if i wanted a stud for a bitch of mine i wouldnt want to see a 2 and half year old dog prove itself in the field, i'd want a 5 or 6 or 7 year old still at the top of its game showing me the job, especially for the job this type needs to be doing. Surely the man has the right to use his dog the way he see,s fit. Some time a good line can be lost waiting another year. This kind of thing in the reason i dont talk about my own Lurcher on line. What they have or havent done Quarry wise stay,s between me and a few close freind,s. marky r 25
i skipped straight to the end of the post i couldnt be arsed reading all the shit and garbage. the lad has every right to breed from his dog but why would you wanna breed from a young dog like it has been said lots of dogs start out great but when there out alot running diffrent quarry and getting nocked about i dont mean once a week either alot of dogs dont have the minerals and if you do breed from it and it does jack than youll be doubting the pups ability and breeding i would anyway. predatorman 54
would anyone use this dog on there bitch??? serious question no. in todays age of internet forums for stud dogs (who are willing to show you the stud work), mobile phones for communication, transport (if you cant drive you must know someone who can) and stud fee in your pocket, there's no excuse for using the dog that lives a couple of streets away, unless you live near x38 lol! (i dont know him before you ask but you can see the dog does what it says on the tin.) Quote Link to post
the colonel 83
would anyone use this dog on there bitch??? serious question if i had a bitch and wanted to use a bull cross over it, no, this dog is too long in the back, has no muscle tone, too short in the neck i have seen far better looking ones than this, that are proven, you should stick to what you do best rfyl, parading your dogs round the showring, then whingeing when your dog doesn't get picked out!!!! 3 Quote Link to post
