SLiP tHe DoG ! 129
drawing dog!!! what would you need one for? if you're into digging your terriers should do any "drawing" for you! if they can't there not good enough, failing that you should be capable of pulling whatever it is you are diggin to out yourself no need for "macho" bull cross to do it for you, unless of course you are frightened of getting bitten! and yes, i do have plenty of experience of working with terriers. what a load of shite nugget 1 Quote Link to post
SLiP tHe DoG ! 129
All the best anyway RFYL nice stamp of a dog Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
Personally I would rather risk loosing the dog than risk breeding of a sub standard dog. But hey, its not mine and who am I to judge. If RFYL is desperate for a pup of it then its his choice. FTB you got it wrong lads. I wasnt asking to bred him becasue of what he is doing... Just for the dog he is, we get asked quite abit if we would line him, thats all. I dont want a pup out of him. If anything we want to bring the size down. And we arent bothered if he bred tomorrow or 5 yrs. Was just offering him out as young fit big bullx with a heart that will die for you.. He may jack tomorrow, he may die tomorrow, who knows. Desperate, he has already lined a bitch mate. We wont be having a pup. Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
Aye but pleanty of dogs do the job for a bit but can't take the strain in the long term. Does that make them worthy of breeding? I've a three year old bitch here doing everything she is asked to and more but won't even consider lining her for a few seasons yet. FTB spot on, give him 2-3 more seasons then you know you got 100% dog He is nice looking dog , hope my pup dont get that big you would hope that, as you only catch rabbits.. Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
Heres a few recent pics of Billy.. Get quite a few pm's about him. And we are thinking of studing him if anybody is interested.... He's 93lb, and 28" tts.. sire. 1stx Dame 1st x... Original post, where does it say anything about breeding for himself or taking a pup from him????????? Send 3 and 4d where going to a dance!!!!!!!!!! so it's ok to stud a young dog out for cash in your book is it ........ or is the stud for free Did I say it was ok??? did I make any comment other than to point out the original post, no!!!! Some of you make it up as you go along nice dog should be scared up if he has plenty of work imo lads say this dog done this that but weres the scares i dont care how good they are just my opinion You what, lol... I have questioned the weight thing a few times..as i really dont understand why anybody would want "a running dog" of heavy build. Even the bull of 20yrs ago gets it weight mentioned. runforyourlife 361
A drawing dog can be a very handy tool. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, SHOULD'NT NEED ONE. Agreed. But (pre ban obviously) a lurcher was a very handy accessory to a digging team. From marking holes, putting stuff to ground, catching bolts and drawing they are worth their weight in gold. If you dig solo (like myself), pre ban, a good lurcher freed up your hands from a gun and net bag. FTB shouldnt need one while digging is this man for real .......scared of getting bit bet your hands look well you got any terriers? if so they must be crap if can't draw quarry themselves, you're just showing us all you're an amatuer pal! so if you dig three foot down to break through to your terrier. it can pull fox out backwards up nd out of hole?or do you stick your head in nd arm up hole to remove,in that case why dig just wait for terrier to pull fox out?dont take spades or owt, just wait for it to pull it out come off it mate realy no realy will try keep this reply short. when have you ever seen a fox with it's arse facing you when you break through? i've seen dogs pull foxes straight out of a set without even needing to dig to them! if you do the job properly you will break through right in the middle of the action, not three foot behind it! if your dog has not got the bottle to grab fox at end of dig, pull dog out, put spade on top of foxes head, pin it to floor and grab it behind head and pull it out unharmed! not that hard pal!!! colonel, you talk shit mate!! And you know me, lol. Your f*****g four foot tall! What if you had dug six feet, how would you pull it out with your hands! Your pissed man, always do this when your pissed up. Dont make yourself look a clown, you have a good running dog there which does very well, stick to him. Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
so out of all these pages is anyone going to breed thier dog with it? Yeah amte they are.. Quote Link to post
FightTheBan 1,147
Really not wanting an argument mate. But who do you associate with who would breed off a dog primarily for aesthetic purposes? Surely that's no better than breeding a terrier just because it won a few shows? As I said, its your dog, your choice and who am I to judge. All the best with your dog and its many seasons ahead of him. FTB Quote Link to post
runforyourlife 361
AGAIN, thl has gone mad, maybe i shouldnt have said anything, i was just offering a bold bullx out for his services. Alot of sense has been said, and ye, maybe your right, maybe he's right.. FTB i actually agree with you for once, lol. Like i said, we dont want a pup. I'm more into running things as those who know me know. He has never been doubled up with an experienced dog. To tell the truth i cant beleive the response this thread brought but there were few arguments, just the colnel being his usual self, lol. The guy who has Billy now, is thinking, "i need a smaller dog" iTS GETTING VERY MUCH ON TOP AROUND HERE, and prying eyes are wide, if you know what i mean.. He goes staying on a farm out in the sticks sometimes, and he is thinking of letting them have him, as they are mad about him. Just thought for in future, it would have been nice for billy to keep the line going.. Billy is out of Charlie, remus of cumbrias brother, from that guy in kent. hope this helps, just of out for the day with billy and the lurchers. Russ Quote Link to post
Hannah4181 260
WOW!! Love the scar photo . . . . if your dog is that scared up i can only imagine how big your penis is. :notworthy: The fellow who put that picture up is a pure nob jockey and obviously done fook all in the long term with dogs. Did you think i was genuinely being complimentary?? ........................... I have ZERO time for the stream of complete tossers who continually post pictures of dogs, angling their heads towards the lens to make the very most of any slight scar ............... Its pathetic! A working dog will of course a long the way pick up scars, more or less depending on your choice of quarry ............ to be proud or boastful of them is imo the first sign of someone who is lacking in knowledge or understanding of their sport ................. its embarrassing and shameful to anyone genuine in the working dog world, disgusting and childish practice from disgusting and childish people. :censored: :wallbash: 2 Quote Link to post

dewclaws 1
I would breed from him if hes seen plenty of work, some bull xs at 2 year old have seen more work than others when their 5 but people would rather breed from the 5 year old. if hes good worker and you want a pup too bring on and got a good bitch too put him too breed him you dont know when an accident could happen too him. spot on long has the dog had plenty of work and no sign of jacking and is sound theres no reason not to breed him,if your happy with him, alot of folks that havent done much jest read out of books and sat behind the pc will say diffrent horses for courses.
