chartpolski 23,467
Never ever went to any coursing meets but the hares that are coursed are netted hares from differed land brought to a spot to be coursed seen the clip there and looks as if the hare as not got clue where they are surely this not the way to test any sort off top running dog just asking by the way  but all in all looks good day out I used to attend the Border & Coquetdale Coursing Club, in Northumberland; and I can assure you there were no "netted hares" run there !! I can't remember what it ended up but it was a lot shorter than fives. When it got beat it was only by half a point. Im positive i got it at 4/1 .. i only went on the 1st day so never saw it loose.. i remeber thinking if which ever dog it that runs against dosent catch the hare on the straight it would beat.. never found out how it lost though.. i can remeber everyone laughing at it when it was 1st sliped because it got slaughterd on the straight but once the hare turned it was a diffrent story.. its a crime that such an event has been banned! boyo 1,398
weblair should have a broom stiuck up his arse head first for letting the ban come into place nt quite a lot brilliant craic and met some great people and had some great laughs the atmosphere was electric every year also go over to ireland for the clonmel festival coursinfg not near as good as the waterloo but tremendous craic if anythingg better than the waterlooo as every pub club and hotel is wall to walll cousing absouloute heaving coursing every day and racing every night at clonmel track , sky high prices over ireland in the last couple of years have ruined it though which is a great pity .and as a bonus anything you want can be bought in clonmelfor a running dog and if it isnt there it hasnt been made yet .
