stevethefish 80
Getting some good numbers steve, great work Much digging involved? There was a bit, the early sets were just a foot or foot and half easy digging in sandy soil, the later sets were 4, 4and a half deep they were a bit tricky. Quote Link to post

Your lucky to have such a good number of rabbits there.. Has mixi not showed its horrible face? We have had mixy for about three years on and off, there are still a few marked up that survived and the odd one thats blind but the foxes usually finish these off. It pays to thin the rabbits out this helps prevent mixy as it seems the more about the easier they get it. Fingers crossed eh! Quote Link to post

caterpiller 10
Well done once again Steve and your Bunny busting crew.....good RELIABLE Lads are hard to find.....plenty talk about it......but rarely practice what they preach.....guard these RELIABLE Lads with your life Your right about the Rabbits in smaller Warrens.....you can cover alot more ground filling the Bag alot quicker than Ferreting the big sprawling places. Out in the morning.....just a mop up job.....had some cracking days on this spot but sadly, you can only catch them once. A few have moved in from the surrounding area and the Farmer wants them gone......so, i will have a mooch and Ferret what ever the Dog marks Just waiting to get on a few places with the Shoots finished......should have a few good weekends sport before the season finishes Quote Link to post
