alphasha 0
After seeing a post on an an older dog being moved on to its forever home it has made me realise that this would be an ideal solution for us at this time. In a nutshell I have got a 4 year old cocker that is getting increasingly gun shy (no excuses all my own fault as are her others) so not ideal for the duck and pigeon so she has reverted to beating and bushing for the lurchers. We also have a ESS pup that is only 15 weeks old, so in an ideal world we are looking for a bitch that is now looking to slow down to finish out their years in semi retirement so to speak. We can offer a permanent loving home where she will be worked once or twice a week (lightly) and walked twice a day with the rest of the pack. I would prefer a spaniel but we would equally love a lab. Just something that would be happy on the peg and picking up and be a mentor for the pup. If anyone knows of anything that might be suitable please contact me, thanks Sha Edited January 20, 2011 by alphasha Quote Link to post
