To change the beam you can also remove the outer case DO NOT touch the lense, if you do you can use meths to clean it but be carefull. Some times you will not be able to get a true hot spot even when you push the bulb back or forward . With the outer lense off look around the edge of the screw you will find a small lug that holds it all together. Very carfully with a small screw driver push between thred and lens and lens should pop out. Now at the back of the bulb you will see a clamp that holds the bulb holder its self normaly need plyers for this . With the clamp off push or pull the bulb holder back or forward only a very small amount and this will give you a new position for your bulb now you have more ajustment. If I remember right from base off lense to bulb holder there is about 4mm recess but remember only a small ajustment is normaly enough, you might have to play with it for a bit to get it but you will, you can try it with it in bits and fine tune it get the best you can then fine tune the bulb.
