CarraghsGem 92 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Share Posted January 20, 2011 seriously, i know this is hard and your probably finding this a shock, your ferret going downhill like this but the sooner you pts him/her the better for the ferret, ive been through this before myself i know its not easy, you just have to straighten yourself up, grit your teeth and do whats right. id suggest a wee nip of whisky afterwoulds for yourself as a remedy as well. Fluid build up is indicative of the organs shutting down as a result of septicaemia setting in. It means the animal is very close to death. Quote Link to post
