Guest RAB.MCKAY
I STARTED WITH 5 DOGS = # 3 X 3/4 GREY 1/4 BULL # 1 X WIPPET LURCHER CROSS ( HER DOG ) LOL # 1 X 1/2 BULL 1/2 GREY I HAVE AT THE MOMENT # 1 X GREYHOUND BITCH # 1 X LAKELAND X BITCH # 1 X PATTERDALE X DOG # 1 X HOUND # 1 X 3/4 GREY 1/4 # 1 X WIPPET LURCHER CROSS ( HER DOG ) LOL ITS A FULL TIME JOB THIS HUNTING CARRY ON . If your finding that the dogs your rearing aren't doing the job, then i think you should take a look at yourself, rather than blaming the dog. To me the most important thing is forming a bond between myself and the dog, to work as a pack. How could you possibly do this? You own a dog 5 minutes, get bored of it and move onto the next dog. What happens to these dogs when you get bored of them? lol seriously Quote Link to post

Guest RAB.MCKAY
You don't keep your dogs long then? I started with the same dog i'm going to finish with! id like to have said the same but as we all know its not always possible, started with a 12 month old bitch that id had from a pup just up and running only to have it nicked then month later my 2 1/2 year old bullx spewed,to say i didnt keep my dogs long either is a true statement but unfortunately shit happens doesnt mean you should think any less of anyone because of it,im suprised i havnt jacked in all this shit years ago with the luck iv had but hey if its in you its in you and nothing can change that can it including bad luck hope luck shines on u next time , real good dogs dont come a lone often , but [bANNED TEXT] youve seen wat some dogs are capable of y settle for any thing less . Red Collar 28
Try bringing one on from a pup rather than buying and selling over and over. You started the season with 5 bull x - when i doubt you have work for more than 2. By seasons end you have got shot of most if not all of these and decided you now want some terriers and hounds (which you also just buy in ready to go). Next year you will be onto something else. If your wanting the 'all round lucrher' then do the damn work for it. It probably doesnt exist anyway. I'm guessing your pretty young? Under 30? 3 OF THE BULL CROSSES WER LITTER BROSS AND SISTER # 1/2 BULL CROSS WAS MOTHER I HAD THEM OVER 2 YEARS RAISED 4M PUPS MOTHER HAD 2 GO 2 DOG HOME AND I STILL HAVE THE 3/4 BITCH TRY ASKEN FIRST. I BREAD A HALF BITCH AT 9 YEAR OLD STILL HUNTING WITH A TOP GREY HOUND STUDD ALEX REVENGE A LOT OF THOUGHT WENT IN 2 BREEDING , ALL DOGS TURNED OUT VERY FAST AND GAME ONE WAS TOO GAME DIDNT MATTER WAT IT WAS HE WANTED 2 PUT HIS TOOTH IN IT , PROBLY MY FAULT FOR NOT HAVEING ENOUGH TIME 2 GET HIM USED 2 LIVE STALK. How did you think you was gonna bring on three pups together? You've ruined them dogs ye dick, an the others too. Ye say yeself probably your fault haha probably! God I'm f****n glad people get the chance to read shit like this so they or should I say we can learn from it.keep reading people there's more like him I'm sure Quote Link to post
old school 567
if i get time tomorrow i'll get some pics up... i bought in 3 pups at different stages! the 1st was a bull cross pup i got from your mate rab... 3/8bull 5/8grey shes good in everyway but i'm sure foxes arent goin to be her thing unless somebody can make a job of her in that department i'll give her to them free to good home, shes 2 years old... i've an ad on here about her anyway!! the next pup in training is a 3/4grey 1/4 wheaten and only been out twice starting the other week so i'll be ending work with him, i forget his age but i think its 13 months or so!! if this fog would piss off i could get more done but hopefully he should be running the beam well enough by the end of the month... the one comin behind him is a wee 1st cross beddy/grey and i'm lookin forward to gettin her started, shes about 10 months now... she just seems to be hunting on the brain non stop all the time lol... thorny 100
I started with a 12 week old puppy and will end with 7 month puppy and looking forward to next season, to see if all the hard work we have put in together to date and over the summer period will pay off. Then possibly the following 12 months settling the dog to his job and brushing up on any problems that may occur in the hope the following season I have a strong fit and healthy well manured, well trained dog that due to the time we have spent together we can work as a team and enjoy what we do. Really looking forward now, this will continue until my mate has grown to old, and the lure of lying by a warm fire becomes more important to him than chasing bunnies, then I would cross My fingers that the next dog I get is as much fun to own as him. Thorny It does make Me spit how people just push problem dogs from pillar to post. Quote Link to post
