Good afternoon lads and lasses I come across this site a while ago but never got round to signing up, the information on this site is second to non :notworthy: I posted in the new member section but since this is my area of interest I thought that I would introduce myself here, hope you don't mind. I started off shooting about a year ago with a crappy B2 in the back garden at lager cans and the such as soon as i fired my first shot i was hooked! I carried on shooting with that for a few months until I had the funds to buy something more reputable, better made and more accurate, enter my BSA Lightning in .22 flavour. The step up in quality and accuracy was phenomenal and had me well and truely addicted which soon led to the 'I need a new gun because.....' conversation with the missus! Anyway I'm currently awaiting delivery of a BSA Ultra Multi-Shot Tactical in .177 and to say that I'm excited is an understatement I'm like a small child on christmas eve :icon_redface: Just trying to sort the whole permission thing out which is proving more difficult than I thought :wallbash: Although I've had some positive feed back and I'm just waiting for replies after they have slept on it. Hopefully its turns something up  Cheers for reading anyways and looking forward to getting to know you all.

Cheers lads, it's a mine of information this site like and as I'm always looking to learn more it's the perfect place. I can't wait to get my hands on my Ultra been waiting a while now some cock up with the order at BSA or so the RFD told me. Yeh insurance is deffinatly on the cards I get paid tuesday so it will be getting done then, I hear BASC is the best or better recognised? Or is this just falacy? Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Now then Millsy, cheers for the offer mate I will deffinately take you up on that if I can get these permissions sorted looking good for 2-3 golf courses and a possible farm. Rossi_j yeh thats not too far from me about 10 minutes in the car (well the missus' car shes my personal taxi service till i pass!) Don't worry I'll put a thread up as soon as I've had a good go with her and post some views. Oh and cheers for the SP

Cheers Bill, I've got a 15m plinking range set up in the house so I supose I'm quite lucky to be able to havehat to keep me occupied with the new gun untill I can sort a permission out. Looking at a new scope but don't really know what to go with got a hawke at the minute but thats on the lightning but will be moving on to the ultra untill funds become available looking at the mamba and viper range from mtc? But don't want to ruin the ultras qualities by slinging a heavy scope on top if you know what I mean?

Hello there, I am a newbie as well. Currently armed with a Hatsan 60S .22, wife has a Gammo 400.177, I am getting a Webley Stingray .177 at the weekend and the wife is chopping hers in for a Diana 280, both are 177s. We also have a Crosman 2240 pistol for rat despatching and scragging! Keen FTC and cardboard target shooters and looking for bunnies and pigeons too (actually on a goose flightpath but the bu99ers are going too high at the moment).

Welcome to the forum the both of you :gunsmilie:

Hope you will join in with the conversations and banter.

We are pretty much all up for a laugh as well as learning from and teaching each other.

There is also a hell of a lot of good people on here who will help you out with the little things as well as the big things in life, not just the shooting.

This place produces some amazing lifetime friendships and many of us could call ourselves "part of the family" :boogie:
