Thanks guys!

thinking about studding him aswell

why when he's not proven?

well i know a few people looking for pups so was maybe thinking get a bitch to breed!

to be honest im not that big into hunting its just that i have racing pigeons and like to keep vermin under control

ps i wouldnt sell the pups i would only breed to gift them to people i knew

i would get the dog working ( and proven ) on whatever quarry you work and then think of breeding bud.

too many pups are from "non working " stock, its a working breed afterall.

good luck getting the dog going and all the best with the future mating etc.

try the working bedlington site. as for breeding few years work atleast first under his belt. friends be fine finding ratting beddies around to buy, but good digging pups another story

The main reason for a lack of quality in Beddy,s,and most other types to a lesser extent,is that people buy then breed out of untested dogs that would not make the grade as genuine workers, then there is the dogs whos exploits in the field dont stand up to closer inspection, yet the pups are sold as from working lines.
