runforyourlife 361
I've known several dogs have their dew claws removed at the vets as adults: no problem at all. Either the vets were rubbish or the owner ran the dog too soon after the operation: takes at least a month to be safe before running again. well said! Its a normal operation, they are removed, and then stitched up. why would a healed scar keep opening up.. I ran my dog after 3 weeks, and he has never had any bother with then what so ever.. Go to good greyhound vet, and they are around 5oquid each. Quote Link to post

I had them both off my dog,he was having a lot of trouble with them,,a big mistake, cost me nearly 300 quid, rested him up for ages, within a year one of them started coming back through so they done another op a little while back and want another £190 : worst thing is the other one is starting to give him agg now think they just didn,t take them back far enough in the first place...twats... i would tell them to get f***ed you don't pay twice for a job that can be done once. and i would want a refund, who did the job the VET or the NURSE Quote Link to post
