storm323 191 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Share Posted January 19, 2011 A friend of mine his dog had them off never had any problems with the scare opening up,i think it cost over 200 pound,my bitch has had problems with hers shes ok now but im gonna have them removed after the season,i think the raps take some getting used of i think every lurcher man who breeds pups should get them done they are a nightmare. Either the vets were rubbish or the owner ran the dog too soon after the operation: takes at least a month to be safe before running again. Quote Link to post

I had them both off my dog,he was having a lot of trouble with them,,a big mistake,cost me nearly 300 quid,rested him up for ages, within a year one of them started coming back through so they done another op a little while back and want another £190 : worst thing is the other one is starting to give him agg now think they just didn,t take them back far enough in the first place...twats...
