shepp 2,285
They can not abolish the hunting ban, all they can do is put it to the vote in parliament. There is a fairly high chance that put to the vote right now it would stay banned. So where are all these f**k ups then, all I can see is them trying to sort out a near bankrupt country left by Labours years of throwing money about that we don't have. Not to mention mass uncontrolled immigration and a public sector increased by nearly 1million, all payed for by guess who. Edited January 19, 2011 by shepp
boyo 1,398
all they ever promised on the hunting debacle was a free vote which i still thinkwould not get overturned at least with the loopholes left in theres plenty of room to carry on if youuse your imagination .let sleeping dogs lie i say and get on with it plus i think the hunting ban is waty down their agenda with the mess the country is in . RicW 67
They could abolish the HWH Act by Fiat of Parliament.

Attack Fell Terrier 864
I don't rust any of them, they're one and the same. We need a fresh change in this country I think, not the same NEW Labour - Tories playing catch with power.

The Labour government ruined this country by spending billions on shitty unnecessary public sector jobs that noone actually benefited from. At last someone is prepared to stand up and make the cuts necessary to get our country out of debt.
PeakOil 352
Lib Dems, New Labour or Tory it makes barely any difference. THEY ARE ALL 99% THE SAME! Arguing the toss over the 1% difference suits them and their real masters and is a great way of distracting the proles / pretending you have a real choice. They will do whatever they think will win them most votes, that is all Lib Dems, New Labour or Tory are really bothered about along with feathering their own nests and setting themselves up nicely for a non executive directorship at what ever big businesses they do favours for while in power. Given the number of Labour / Lib Dem liars still in Parliament, anyone who believed the Tory liars would repeal the hunting act with a free vote in Parliament is a fool. At last someone is prepared to stand up and make the cuts necessary to get our country out of debt. The cuts being proposed WILL NOT get the country out of debt, the cuts are far to small for that and the debt is far to big. All the current cuts do is buy the current government some time / credibility in the bond market and allow them to KEEP ON BORROWING at a manipulated low rate. The current government with their cuts are still increasing the national debt, it is not going away and it is not getting smaller. All the cuts have done is slightly decrease the amount the national debt is going up by.
Phil74 4
The cuts certainly will get the country out of debt eventually. We need a time of austerity. What do you propose? Keep on spending without any responsibility as the Labour crew did? The national debt is being addressed thank God- it's been allowed to grow unchecked since 1997. We should never forget it's 13 years of Labour government that left this country in the mess it's in today.

The national debt is not being reduced or paid off. All that is happening is the national debt is increasing slightly slower that it would do if New Labour won the election.
