Can get some good nights on the lamp if you hit on lucky, been out one night, bit snow fall, full moon, you could see the rabbits sitting in the middle of the field without a lamp., and this was a lampshy place, think the snow muffles the noise of you creeping up, light on bang, no where for them to run if the dog knows what its doing. :victory:

Aye f**k the frost, a bit snow dont do any harm though.

I went out for the first time in the snow just before proper crimbo - what a pointless waste of time that was lol, I had heard people say you wouldn't need a torch but I was gob smacked to see how true they were lol

personally myself, i wouldn't take a pup learning out lamping on a full moon, why not wait until the odds are a bit more in the pups favour, there will be better nights to come, try and be patient it will be better for your pup. atb with whatever you decide
