pipa 299
i got told a 12ltr 300bar would only fill my R10 about 6/7 times?? thats why i didnt bother getting a bottle! Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
so how many 232 bar fills will he get to do his R10, before refilling the divers bottle???? How long is a piece of string, does he fill it from empty/ 1/4 empty/ 1/2 empty/ 3/4 empty, I fill my Air arms to 160bar when it hits the 100bar mark i have filled it of the same 12ltr 300bar bottle for the past 3yrs and im yet to have it topped up yet, going of the manufacturers info the bottle should of been filled up a dozen times by now.. Before this bottle i had a 232 bar bottle that was on 200bar when i bought it, i filled the gun for a season and a half and it was hammered with thousands of pellets going through it,i only sold it and bought another as it was behond test and would not push more than 120bar into the gun.. At the end of the day it is all down to circumstances on how many fill's you will get, and from experience i will not listen to what the manufacturers say. Quote Link to post

markha 99
Right mate, regardless of what anyone tels you this is the answer you are looking for: A 12 lt divers bottle marked for filling to 232 bar will hold 2784 litres of air at sea level. Now all you need to know is the capacity of your R10 air cylinder, I think the standard ones are 200cc, which is 200 cubic centimetres, there are 1000cc in 1 litre> So each time you fill your R10 from completely empty(which is never going to happen) you use 1/5th of a litre, now your 12lt dive bottle holds 2784lt of air! so you will get atleast 13 Full fills, however you never shoot till your tanks empty do you? so I guess you would get more than 25 fills off £5 worth of air.
