Well I for one would appreciate some help if I lost my business and income.   Some folk have lost their employment through no fault of their own, and would love the chance to get back into full time

I tell you what then Major i will have your job and then you can get benefits.....however i get no dole as my mrs works and her wages even minus my own still take me above the limit.....so we have all the same bill with less than half the income.....Good On CA for doing this in my opinion.....

Dont want to cause a argument ATB JEZ

To be honest Jez, I don't think anyone is having ago at your personally, it's just the UK at the moment, everyone has their faces in the dirt trying to stay afloat, employed or unemployed.

or self employed  i can see where everyone is coming from but i dont think offering insurance to the unemployed half price is a fair way to operate. the best way of dealing with this if you dont like it is take your full price business else where! let your money do the talking so to speak. i will. nothing personal intended here. do they offer it half price to pensioners, disabled and students?

Some folk have lost their employment through no fault of their own, and would love the chance to get back into full time paid employment.

Arnt we the lucky ones to still be employed.

I reckon the CA are showing good business sense, AND ethics, by offering a discounted rate to shooters who have hit hard times.

Some have harder times than others, some deserve the help, some absolutly dont.

For people who have tried and failed through no fault of their own, I say good luck to you!!....... and good hunting.

I know what your saying! I visit ten businesses everyday, fifty a week and no one business owner is happy at the moment. All predict a seriously hard year, most are trying to work out way to keep the staff in a job, while the staff moan and groan about how hard their life is and how bad work is :whistling:

I think we will all feel the pinch this year and I honestly think most will have a lot of bruises left after the pinch!!

I'm in full time work, I have a £120 car tax bill (no option but to spend the money), £250 stalking lease (local farm with Fallow, meat helps out in the home), £450 worth of bills (not a lot of options here), just paid £170 (parts only) to put on a new brake caliper & CV gaiter on the 4x4 the bills keep rolling in, the sums are starting to add up less and less. I get nothing at all from the country and I'm happy with that coz I owe the country nothing back!! I can only imagine how hard it must be to be out of work trying to pay a mortgage and stay afloat
