Guest SJM
I use drontal plus flavoured, dont know if they are the cheapest but they seem to do the job. If you buy them off www.wormers.co.uk you can get 100 for roughly £1.50 per tab which is a lot cheaper than the vets Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Drontal + Always seems to do what it says on the box, mate. I'll be putting in for another load soon Point is, NEVER buy them from a vet's!!! That way ye paying the over time rates of the schoolgirl in the white tunic, just for handing these Non Prescription tab's to ye, Plus 100's and 100's of % 'mark up' for the b*stard with his name above the door! I always used VetMedicUK.com myself, though there's plenty such excellent suppliers on line. Just make sure they're cosher - not some herbert in a forum. Stale tab's are always a real risk otherwise. Then there's the 'Herbal' / 'Homeopathic' remedies. Not to be scoffed at! I used to use one - disappeared from the market now, it seems? " Four Seasons ". What a f*ckin blinder That was! I'd buy some today! Thing to watch out for, on the H / H ones, is the dosage regimen. " Phytopet Wormwood Complex " I tried and threw away. Need to dose them or their feed several times a day, for ever, according to the girl I got hold of at their end. F*ck That for a game of vermifuge! (But their " Calm " is super excellent for nervy Dogs around scary situations ) Anyway, each to their own and variety, within reason, is the way to go. I hear good things of " Panacur ", eg. Though I've never tried it. If in doubt; " Salter " will advise ye best! Just see the Respect his opening post has engendered! Quote Link to post
T.F.Student 0
I use Wilkinsons own brand 4.99 for 4*10kg tablets. Does tapeworms, roundworms and some other Latin named thing Quote Link to post
tote 856
I've used Pancure liquid for years and found that it does the job, works out really cheap if you buy a litre at a time-£55. Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Tote? How much / How often per Kg of body weight please, mate? And what's the shelf life on a Litre? Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Cheers for that, Nickey. So, in short; Unless ye keep a veritable 'pack of hounds', ye liable to end up ditching most below the neck of the bottle. Or else just dosing ye Dogs with 'out of date' stock? (Unless this stuff has a shelf life measured in Light Years?) Personally, I only tend to worm when one or other of them shows they may need it. I'm probably way too old now to ever even get through an 'ageless' litre. Guess I'll just stick with the tablets. Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
A vet that looks after his clients like That?! Jesus H, man; What's his name? " Herriot " ?! (Noooo!!! Don't for chrissakes even whisper that saints name ~ f*ckin supply companies would freeze him out of business if they ever found out!) Good luck to ye, mate. And give that vet a wink and a smile from me! Quote Link to post
