I went to the vets, spent a massive amount of money and it didn't kill any, had to remove them all by hand anyway. Cochyn 0 Posted January 17, 2011 Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 My ferrets get them from time to time. I've tried vaseline and sprays but find the tick removel tools work best. Slip it over the tick, twist anti-clockwise and remember to kill the tick. This method can be difficult with a ferret that hasn't had a lot of handling. Quote Link to post
