lampingboy 214
hi lads ive got an air arms s410 carbine .22 walnut stock with hawke 3-9x40 scope , and now im back into shooting i fancy doing a few modifications to it. 1: Im looking into a gun lamp atm as most of my shooting will be at night. 2:but ive found in the past that my trigger is to light, how do i asjust this and what aftermarket triggers are available ? i would like something gold which will look a bit tarty . 3:im also interested in a bi-pod for it ,what ones are on the market and what would you reccomend ? i really dont want to drill the stock but i think a bi-pod would help my shooting massively so i think its going to have to be done. 4: a sling ,alot of my shooting will be alone or with a mate and not so much from the car anymore so i wont be carrying a clumbsy case around and i think a sling would come in handy but once again its a drilling the stock job :/ . any other modifications , look wise and things that will help technically id be happy to know about . Also any tweaks to the gun that will aid me will be greatly appreciated as always brad Edited January 17, 2011 by lampingboy Quote Link to post
DEE 0
have a look for a dr.bob bi-pod mount they attatch to the bottle and as for the bi-pod it depenpds wether ur a top band buyer or not harris are the name to be named but any cheapo rep off ebay does the same job at a third of the price , as for the trigger if u take the gaurd off (or you may have to take the stock off not sure on the 410s) and theres 3 adjustment screws ,1 for pre trigger release movement ,1 for trigger sensitivity and im not sure but i think the other is for setting the amount of movement through out the action my mates got the s410 so illl interogate him and get back to you if im wrong or someone may have got back to you befor hand DEE Quote Link to post
markha 99
You can download the triggs410 manual from here Its a great thing is Google You can get slings with adjustable loops so no need to drill the stock, however its much more fun if you google them yourself I have s410 - I drilled the stcok and fitted QD swivels, its not difficult and makes fitting a descent bipod and sling a doddle, Or you can take it to your local gunsmith and they should be able to do it for you for about £35 inc swivels. 19powell90 89
Hey mate your local gunsmiths will fit the studs for a bipod etc. mine charged me £5 for the studs and fiited them for free as for a bipod you cant go wrong with harris i have one any are fantastic! as for a sling you can attach them to yours studs and also when you have a bipod, it attachs to that instead, me myself hate slings as they get in the way and recently my clip broke and my rifle crashed to the floor and bent the barrel as for a gold trigger you will have to get it fitted by a gunsmith unless you feel confident but you need to check if your rifle is anti-tamper. scott Quote Link to post
