Ford Ranger 2003

Just had a look at a motor im interested in, price is ok.

Tried all the gearbox out, all seems ok.

 

Heard about the bad turning circle, but just posting this to try and find out any points to look at specifically.

 

The only bad thing I could find is that the load liner although nicely built is fitted, I think this has always had the pick-up cover on but worried about what is under the fixed load liner. The rest of the car is A1 mint.

 

Guy reckons the cam belts need doing every 60k, and he got it done when he bought it 3 year ago, he's only done 30k since.

He also reckons it will take a ton in the back. Had a look underneath, leaf springs, some scabs but nothing significant id say.

 

What you fellas reckon?

am on my second ford thunder good of road and good drive on the road.only prob aye had was with the tyres that came on the jeep ended up stuck had to get the farmer to pull it out,the tyres were snow tyres witch were changed for altarain tyres.can be sore on the fuel if u drive it fast same as most jeeps.hope that helps a we bit pal :thumbs:
