19powell90 89
hi lads thanks to unfortunate events my sling decided to slip of the clips on my s410 and my rifle crashed to floor whilst cushioning the blow with my foot the barrel still hit the floor and slightly bent the end now after adjusting my scope (proping the back mount up with cloth) i am back on zero with no accuracy change (lucky) but i dont want to have a rifle with a bent barrel so i am just wondering if anyone knows how to change an s410 barrel and is it an easy job? i am going to ring gun shop on tuesday and check prices with them also. i know i can get a barrel for around £100 so fitting it my self will save me some cash thanks for any help scott Quote Link to post

Alex Arrigone 24
Is it definatly bent ?? using my mates account! yeah. its bent at the very tip where the barrel goes thinner to incorperate a silencer. i have tried my mates scope which is identical on it to check its not the scope and it does exactly the same thing and my scope so i know its not the scope. scott Edited January 16, 2011 by Alex Arrigone Quote Link to post

Alex Arrigone 24
using my mates account hey lads after my last post i thought i would give it a try and carefully try and bend my barrel tip back up. after doing this i was able to take the cloth from the rear of my scope ( put it back to normal) and try zeroing. luckily my zero is back on with incredibly good groupings (better than before) lol this was at 22m so tomorrow i will give it a ago at my zero range 35yards at my permission and see how its goes. all seems well for now and barrel seems to be straighter will let you know tomorrow and if not its just a simple barrel change. thanks lads for info scott Edited January 16, 2011 by Alex Arrigone Quote Link to post
