R -10 Shroud

Recommended Posts

Hi Guy's and Girls,

The shroud on my R-10 appears to be loose, I took my old silencer off the other day and had to hold the shroud to stop it turning. The shroud will turn clock or anti clock with a small amount of preasure from my hand. Is this normal or should it be tightened ? Any advice would be warmly welcomed.

Hi Danny,

That isn’t right buddy.

Mine could be screwed off and put back on and tightened until it was flush at the back and tight.

I took my scope off mine and then got a good grip of it pushing it towards the breech as I screwed it on.

I don’t have a shroud fitted anymore buddy as I have a BSA Ultra barrel fitted now mate and a Twink mark 2 which is awesome and makes the rifle shoot out of this world.

If you are defo keeping the shroud fitted then a bit of lock tight will sort it and stop it from turning.

Yeah thank's for that info Si, I will try again putting downward preasure on it as well. Knew something wasn't quite right. If I can't sort it I will take it back to the dealer's. I now have the Twink Mk2 supplied by Davy, and you are right an amazing piece of kit.

Thank's again Buddy.
