It wont have any effect on your dog mate , it shows she,s keen , just be patient , whenever you start her , try to pick some easyish runs , and don,t worry about her missing a few ,maybe run her with a more experienced dog to start with so she can get her mouth on a few .ATB Quote Link to post

Stanleigh 135
Most whippets will be ready for a bit of work now , but only you can judge that , if shes keen and showing willing , and presuming you,ve got basic obedience and stock breaking sorted , why not give her a try . 1 Quote Link to post
tripletree 75
I've always found the main problem with whippets is holding them back they're raring to go almost from day 1. Sensible to get her basic training sorted everyone's different in how and when same as every dogs different. There's no rush that's for sure but in my experience they have a lot of hunting instinct and entering isn't a problem. All the best with her look forward to hearing about her progress Quote Link to post
