liam mc 18
good post and pics delonpara.but what is the point of the pig in a compoound to set terriers and dogos on. They could be testing the dogos before going to field as they still have trials to ensure dogs will take boar when on actual hunt Quote Link to post

But it seems very strange to us to the different Laws in Different Countries As Here in France (Where you have to pass a test or be acompanied to even Hunt) in Some parts people can still legaly Cock fight (in fact it is part of the French emblem) (LaCock Sportive Trainers Sports-wear etc:) and even Bull fight in some parts simlar to Spain, We can even Badger dig, Fox Dig and Hunt Nutria an often up to 20lbs water Rat with Terriers, in fact if you get what judges here consider is Quality type of Jack Russell imported from England and want to register it as a Pedigree with the LOF (French Kennel club) you have to attend a Large Public often international pedigree only dog show where they have a caged Nutria Rat or Caged Fox which is placed into a False earth then the Terrier has to find bay and stay to the satifaction of Kennel club judges here in France before it is allowed to be registered (Strange indeed for this day and age of the tree hugger public) but on the other hand we also have crazy law's which states it is ileagle to hunt at night or chase or Course Rabbits or Hares with a Greyhound But it is fine with a Scent hound or many other breeds Crazy World EH! Even in Ireland it is ileagle to Hunt Hares with a Lurcher But legal with a Pure Greyhound (a little like the gentry It's only OK for us! old law in England Years gone by) Polititions are Ass-e's and countryside ignorant the World over they Just Varied So much from one place to another, in Sport Jonathan Booth France Edited January 18, 2011 by Jonathan Booth France Quote Link to post
